The Japanese postal service has the following to say about parcels to countries other than Japan:

EMS: Up to 30 kg A a+b+c+d+e=3m
(a)up to 1.5m
B a+b+c+d+e=2m
(a)up to 1.05m
Size A or B applies according to the destination.

Vielleicht kann man dir wirklich bei einem Konsulat oder so am Besten weiterhelfen.
Oder frag doch mal einen Professor an eurer Japanisch-Fakultaet, ob er dir helfen kann.
