Well, it's autumn again. I love autumn. I love the middle seasons, autumn and spring, and there's nothing like the colours of an autumn forest.
Seeing as three quarters of the year are done now, though, it's time to finally put another 'soundtrack of my life' CD for the first half year together. I have all the tracks I need, except for three songs:
a) Farin Urlaub - Dusche
b) Backstreet Boys - Incomplete
c) Coldplay - Speed of Sound.
I am saying this here because I know that people on my friendslist must have one or more of these songs, and if you do, please use Yousendit to let me have them, please, please. Love you.
I meant to make stuffed pumpkin tonight in celebration of the equinox, but unfortunately, tonight
is the day when Regina and Ricci finally want to cook the meal they promised to Jörg and Pino after last year's German kata championship. They mean to do this at our flat, so I have to try and get it into a representable state before 7 pm. Then the two girls will arrive, and I'll have to supervise and entertain them until Jörg and Pino arrive at 9 pm. It's going to be terrible. As you can guess from the fact that the whole thing has been planned for about a year now and only takes place now, it's horribly difficult to find a day on which they're all able to meet, but today was the worst day to pick, what with Jörg being in Gronau to visit the Urenco and Pino giving practice 'till late, and me in a mood to have a nice little autumnal celebration rather than a forced meal at which I am, at best, tolerated. If Jörg weren't gone, I would be able to get away, but as things are, the girls wouldn't be able to get in, and I can't leave them alone, either. And apparently there's no other place than our flat. Gaaaaah.
Autumn should have prettier names. 'Fall' sounds like 'downfall', and 'autumn' sounds like 'Utumno'. Whatever you use, you lose.

So, jetzt ist es endlich offiziell Herbst. Ich mag den Herbst. Ich mag die Zwischenjahreszeiten, Herbst und Frühling, und Herbstwälder haben einfach die schönsten Farben.
Da das Jahr nun also zu drei Vierteln 'rum ist, ist es wohl Zeit, mal endlich wieder einen 'Soundtrack meines Lebens' zu basteln, vom ersten Halbjahr jedenfalls. Ich hab auch die Musik da, von drei Stücken abgesehen:
a) Farin Urlaub - Dusche
b) Backstreet Boys - Incomplete
c) Coldplay - Speed of Sound.
Das poste ich jetzt hier, weil ich weiß, dass Leute auf meiner Friendslist einen oder mehrere davon haben, und wenn das auf euch zutrifft, dann geht doch bitte nach Yousendit und schickt sie mir, bittebitte. Hab euch lieb.
Eigentlich wollte ich heute zur Feier des Tages gefüllten Kürbis machen, aber leider wollen Regina und Ricci ausgerechnet heute das "romantische Abendessen" für Jörg und Pino machen, dass sie ihnen nach der Deutschen Kata-Meisterschaft im letzten Jahr versprochen hatten. Das wollen sie bei uns in der Wohnung machen, die ich folglich bis 19 Uhr in einen vorzeigbaren Zustand versetzen muss. Dann tauchen die beiden auf, und ich muss sie unterhalten und beaufsichtigen, bis um 21 Uhr dann Jörg und Pino hoffentlich eintreffen. Das wird so furchtbar. Wie man daraus ersehen kann, dass das Ganze schon seit einem Jahr geplant ist und jetzt erst stattfindet, ist es echt schwer, einen Termin zu finden, an dem alle können, aber heute ist wirklich beschissen, denn Jörg ist bis Abends in Gronau bei der Urenco, und Pino gibt bis spät Training. Und mir ist nach einem kleinen Herbstfeieressen, nicht nach einer erzwungenen Festlichkeit, bei der ich eigentlich nichts zu suchen habe und nur geduldet werde, weil ich halt dazugehöre. Wenn Jörg nicht wegwäre, könnte ich mich ja absetzen, aber dann kämen die Mädchen ja nicht rein, und alleinlassen kann ich sie auch nicht. Und eine andere Örtlichkeit als unsere Wohnung geht wohl auch nicht. Gaaaaah.
