I get to be lucky! Yesh!
Jan. 9th, 2004 05:39 pmToday at Kyûdô, I was too late and therefore missed most of the filming, thank Eru for that. Because a bunch of sports students apparently wanted to film Kyûdô for some project, and they interviewed ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kaneda and filmed the others. But, as I said, I came too late, when they were just doing some last stuff before wrapping up. I was late because my brilliant father had ordered something that arrived today and had to be payed for at once and in cash. Almost 150 €. Which he hadn't said, so nothing was prepared, so I didn't have on me, so I had to ask the delivery guy to come back later while I had to get that money (i.e., find the book into which I'd put the envelope containing my Christmas money). Gnah. So I had to wait for him afterwards. *sigh* Now my father owes me money. Could be worse.
At least I managed to hit the silver at Kyûdô, which, apparently, is some New Year's tradition: You try to shoot the silver, and if you manage, you can try the gold as well. I couldn't, because Sebastian cheated and got it before me, but I did hit the silver's rim, so that supposedly means I'll be lucky all year. Hope it works. We also got bits of calligraphy, the zodiac monkey because this is the year of the monkey, from sensei. And if I'm very lucky, I might even soon have my very own Kyûdô glove. But sensei says I should try the ten meters soon, which sounds scary.
Well, I suppose I shouldn't push my luck, so I should at least get back to reading for my presentation next week. Always the same. But I only have to talk for 20 minutes, because so many people have talked too long, so other presentations got pushed back, and now next time we have five presentations. So actually, if there are things that I forget or overlook, I can say I left them out intentionally because they're to broad and would have taken to long. Heh heh. Luck's already working for me.
