Oof.

Spent 13 hours helping at the tournament. I am extremely tired more from spending half a day in an ill-aired gym than from actually working (my job was, after the general preparations, mainly to pin the valuation to the pinboard; and to explain everything to anyone who asked, because our "official" was somewhat overtaxed).

Cele has decided that I am a control freak.

The results, in case anyone cares:

WOMEN:
1. Berlin I (quelle surprise. They're European champions.)
2. Bavaria
3. Northrhine Westphalia
4. Hesse

MIXED:
1. Hesse I
2. Lower Saxony II
3. Northrhine Westphalia I
4. Northrhine Westphalia II

The fight between Hesse and NRW I was really exciting. Unfortunately, three of the fighters (Boromirwetz, Dominik and Roland) were ill (but fighting nonetheless). Roland won his fight anyway.
The Hessian fans were right bastards. When the "pairings" were official, they started talking (rather loudly, right behind me - I was off duty once the semi-finals began).
"Ahahahah! René against Kazuko! Hahahah! Kazuko will beat him up! Hahahah! He won't last twenty seconds! Hahahah! Won't that hurt him! Hahahah! Beaten by a woman! Hahahah!"
I can hardly tell you how VERY satisfied I was when René not only lasted longer than twenty seconds, but also WON. YESH!

Oof. Gym-sick now.
