I have a hard-boiled egg and I'm going to eat it. It's the 25th after all.
Ich habe ein hartgekochtes Ei und ich werde es essen. Ist schließlich der 25.



Jörg's mother brought a chicken for lunch. I hate these huge chickens. They still have all the insides, and they're such a mess to clean, and they're out to get me I swear.
They're really tasty though.
Jörgs Mutter hat ein ganzes Hühnchen fürs Mittagessen mitgebracht. Ich hasse die Viecher. Da ist noch fast alles drin, und es ist so anstrengend, die Knochen rauszupopeln, und sie haben es auf mich abgesehen, ehrlich!
Aber sie schmecken echt gut.


I and my trusty towel managed to vanquish the beast though.

Großartig! Vielen Dank für das meme!
Ich beneide dich nicht für die ganze Arbeit, aber irgendwie sieht es so aus als würde da jemand (in diesem Fall du XD) richtig leben, im Sinne von den Tag nutzen.

Das war also höchst interessant und ich hätte nichts dagegen, wenn du das irgendwann nochmal machst! :)

:) "möchte" would be "I'd like to have"; you're looking for "mögen", the 1st person singular is "mag". "Posten" is post in the sense of office; the German for an LJ post would be "Eintrag" or - "Post"! And instead of "studieren" ("study") you'd rather use "lernen" - it's pretty much like the English there!

So the correct way would be: "Ich mag diese Eintragen (dieses Eintrag?). Ich lerne deutsch, wann ich die lesen." ?

Strictly speaking, "Ich mag diese Einträge. Ich lerne deutsch, wenn ich die lese". But definitely close!
