Dec. 7th, 2003 02:10 pmI am not seriously thinking about going to Berlin on the tenth, am I? AND going to Freiburg on 13th, and to Zürich on 15th, and to Bochum on 16th...
Yes, I am.
On my dad's ancient computer, there's a game that my brother and I used to play in the days now gone. Its name is "Travelling through Europe" (the "old" Europe not in the Bush sense but in the 1991 sense, i.e., 12 countries instead of today's... 15? 16? whatever), and basically you just had to travel to each of the 12 countries, play some game to earn some money so you could travel on, and answer 6 questions about the country, and if you had at least 4 of them right, you could travel on. I always won.
I had to think of this because of the idea of travelling to all sorts of places within a few days. Only I can't earn travelling money, and instead of answering questions, I'd just visit friends and watch VIPs and, eventually, ROTK.
No. Berlin is out of bounds. Don't even think about it.
(Anyone want to drive me there and back again on Wednesday? Because by car still would be the cheapest alternative, even if I went all by myself... You'd make me happy forever. Or at least for qite a while.)
I'm not obsessed at all, am I?

So, to get my mind busy on something else, I'll put part of my wishlist here, just for the sake of the few people who might want to get something for me for Christmas.
MostAll of the books are English, but the rest is in German.
Books
(and I know that this is no scientific way to make a bibliography, ok?)
-J.R.R. Tolkien: The History of Middle-earth 7: The Treason of Isengard. Harper Collins
-J.R.R. Tolkien: The History of Middle-earth 8: The War of the Ring. Harper Collins
-J.R.R. Tolkien: The History of Middle-earth 9: Sauron Defeated. Harper Collins
-J.R.R. Tolkien: Letters from Father Christmas. Picture Lions, 1995
-Walter Jon Williams: New Jedi Order: Destiny's Way. Lucas Books, 2003
-Sean Williams and Shane Dix: New Jedi Order: Force Heretic I - Remnant. Arrow, 2003
-Madeleine L'Engle: An Acceptable Time. Laurel-Leaf Books, 1994
-Madeleine L'Engle: A Ring of Endless Light. Laurel-Leaf Books, 1996
Anderes
Falls keinem was davon zusagt, denkt euch selbst was aus ;)
