The lyf so short

A year ago this was already the middle of the summer vacations (as opposed to the beginning, as it is this year). The judô club was on its yearly summer camp, and because I had no vacation time left and thus had to work, I just went there for one evening.

And there I got the most romantic and yet not kitschy wedding proposal in the history of ever, as you may remember.

A whole year has passed since then. A whole year, and it has gone by just like that.
Due to stress and work and practice and my grandmother's birthday party this weekend we don't really have any celebration plans, but we've got tickets for the theatre tomorrow (Twelfth Night) and will finally, finally, FINALLY go to the cinema on Friday (third time for me this year, first for him) and see the new Star Trek, so we'll just declare that part of our anniversary celebration.

A whole year. Passed in an eyeblink. The speed at which the anniversary came around is almost more scary than enjoyable. Where has the time gone?
